only if you know my feelings are fragile
you will understand. when i say i die a thousand times
under this skin of dust. i say death

this one more time. it shall be you
my grave. & i will be gone.

i stand on your lips.

see what you do with dreams. you do them over—

s.m.e.a. r_ d.

& the space reeks the filth of your falsehood. it is over.

i course your body. tongue. it is stone—i take your worse. i
erect my middle into a catapult. yet i cannot
sling you. you sling me.

in the end. i
am this ruin sitting lost at the
end of the bed. in

waste. i. sometimes wish i. like a storm without
mercy. rise—a tumult in my mouth. &
curse blind ecstasy.

but i squat. i cannot pick
my brokenness. i cup my eyes. these tears cannot mend me. these
tears cannot mend me.

how you become all what is mine.
how you become all what is mine.

i say death

this one more time. it shall be you
my grave. & i will be gone. all gone.
