It is late at night.
Old love poems on my mind.
I pen a haiku.

P.S. If you have an "in" with anybody at Steemit, Inc. - Would you please ask them to get rid of these damn, extremely annoying "off-website" arrow/boxes? The have, overnight, made Steemit ugly. There are much better solutions.

I didn't know that, but then I don't know much about haiku

Lots of haiku on my Library Poetry Shelf...

Thanks for stopping by!

That one makes sense to me.

I love to put pen to paper and write out the things that spew from my mind. There's always a notebook and pencil on my bedside table :)

Mere!

Thanks so much for stopping by and reminding me that you're here... ;)

I was up before dawn and happened to be scrolling through the Steemit feed when I saw you had a freshly pressed post! We must definitely be in different time zones.

Those that love night,
inevitably write
lonely poems in moonlight :)

Thank you, John...

I'm smiling back. ;)

The poet who writes haiku called Haijin .
So you Haijin, dear @creatr
One of the most famous representatives of
the genre was and still remains of Matsuo Basho.
Wise thoughts sound in his poems.

Thank you, @singa. I appreciate your comments and the pictures.

You are very creative creating a haiku @creatr I cannot even compose one of these things.

Hi, @cryptopie,

Thanks for stopping by.

I'm sure you could write a haiku if you want to!

Just a poem with three lines. The first and last lines have five syllables, and the middle line has seven.

Try it! :D
