What if I thought of taking you to the movies every week?
What if I said 1I Loved You but it's another I seek?
What if I thought of helping out with the dishes all the time?
But instead all I do is sit and eat and write my rhymes?
ls it the thought that counts?
Will schools ever reward students who only think of studying?
Will banks ever pay the penniless that are always bothering?
Would merchants ever take payments made in
shiploads of thought?
Or would they arrest the buyer until they pay for all they bought?
Is it just the thought that's really going to count?
Or the effort in birthing what one thought about?
Is it just okay for great thoughts to abound?
Or isn't it the actions that make the thoughts to count?
