Hey Steemians! Here's a short Mother's Day poem I wrote.
Driving with Family
The sun lazily slides toward the hills of the Napa Valley,
As amber light filters through the leaves of passing trees,
Like beams of warm honey that slow this moment in time.
We are talking and laughing together,
And I find myself filled with the simple yet powerful joy,
That finds me when my heart is open and my mind is still.
