entangle, disentangle
don't we all struggle for our own identity
is there something wrong with my possessive paws
they appeared so lovely at first sight
but every single flaw is another's achilles heel
and here we are now, four years past our initial big bang
we still find ourselves running after tails
freaks exist, but we aren't afraid to dig into this freak show soup of life
all these strange yet lovely encounters, they waltz into our lives
so inconspicuously and seamlessly
and they waltz out of our lives without warning
but do they? this tape likes to rewind itself
everybody has a different style of disentaglement
only to find that this rope we've started will never fully disentangle itself
there's always a hidden meaning behind everything
and they're up to you to stamp and collect.
so interest..
“there's always a hidden meaning behind everything
and they're up to you to stamp and collect” i agree
Great Post!
Great ♥
There are some things about poet that really make the reader mysterious about what it is all about. It gives the reader more suspense to find it conclusions. I believe this poem is about starting something that really turns out to something you didnt plan of @honneybee
History proves that whenever a nation avoided fights and battles, it lost its dignity.

Great.
I love the metaphors. The realizations. The deep thinking. The light thinking. The bouncy feel to some. The dredging feel to others. Great work. I like it! :)
I like it! :

Interesting poem. Simple but seems to have a lot of depth to it. Yeah, everybody does appear amazing before you really get to know them. Some are fine overall despite their flaw(s), so we keep them around. But others have a flaw that just doesn't mesh with us well. So we let them go/disentangle.
I'm thinking maybe the poem could be interpreted as referring to events which have a grip on us. Sometimes we feel like we've overcome certain situations completely, but in reality, there's still some remnants which keep us entangled.
So the idea that we are ever truly free from our bonds is just an illusion.
Nice petry
