The morning sign started to glow
Pagi menghampiri dengan suasana mendung
Seberkas sinar seakan hilang dan meredup
Hawa dingin dan rasa bahagia seakan tenang
Dengan canda tawa senyuman di setiap kedip
Morning approached with cloudy atmosphere
A beam of light disappears and dims
It was cold and happy as if it were calm
With laughter smile at every blink
Suara anak sekolah terdengar riang
Sapa candaan menerpa disetiap mereka yang sapa
Angin sepoipun mulai terasa ada yang menggigil dan meriang
Tiba-tiba dentuman letusan bersuara
The sound of schoolchildren sounded cheerful
Greetings joke in every greeting
The wind seemed to be shivering and feverish
Suddenly the explosion sounded
Kobaran asap mulai berputar di langit
Seakan berdiri gagah dengan penuh ratapan
Itulah debu vulkanik yang berdiri gagah di langit
Dari letusan sinabung yang sangat meresahkan
The smoke began to spin in the sky
As if standing bravely with lament
That is the volcanic dust that stands dashing in the sky
