Emotions Needs To Be Check

Keep your emotions check because we all have beast that is lurking inside us

As darkness looms inside
I hear the crackle of lightning
Followed by the roar of thunder
Which left me afraid, shuddering

As soon as I've heard a chattering noise,
I screamed for someone's assistance
But then, I found myself without a voice
I can't talk as if enchanted to a trance

At that point, realization hit me
*Something's off, something is not right
I am not who I used to be
I have to put up a fight

I have to fight the monster
The monster eating me from the inside
A beast ready to make my soul a cadaver
A caitiff ready to eat up all my glory and pride

I have to win this endeavor
The monster I shall behead
For if the beast defeats me rather
I shall end up going to the world unknown
