Hejka, cześć, witajcie. W tygodniu miałam bardzo mało czasu i energii na pisanie codziennych postów, a nie chciałam się do tego zmuszać, ponieważ blogowanie ma być dla mnie przyjemnością, a nie smutnym obowiązkiem. Postanowiłam więc, że w tym tygodniu wrzucę jeden, dłuższy wpis podsumowujący moją aktywność.
Hey, hi, and welcome. During the week I had very little time and energy to write daily posts, and I didn't want to force myself to do it, because blogging is supposed to be a pleasure for me, not a sad duty. So I decided that this week I will throw in one longer post summarizing my activity.
Poniedziałek: Dzień w mieście.
Tak jak zwykle po weekendzie, w powrocie od Mateusza zajechałam do miasta. Musiałam zrobić małe zakupy na najbliższe kilka dni. Do domu wróciłam dosyć wcześnie, przez co miałam czas, aby zająć się sprzątaniem. Dziś zrobiłam ogólne porządki w każdym pomieszczeniu i wytarłam kurze.
Monday: A day in the city.
As usual after the weekend, I pulled into town on my return from Matthew. I had to do a little shopping for the next few days. I got home quite early, which gave me time to take care of cleaning. Today I did a general cleanup of every room and wiped down the dust.
Wtorek: Ciąg dalszy sprzątania.
Rano, jak zawsze byłam w mieście. Po powrocie ugotowałam zupę grochową, której nie jadłam od wieków. Była naprawdę smaczna i chyba zacznę robić ją częściej. Po południu sprzątałam łazienkę i korytarz, w którym zrobił się ogromny chaos. Musiałam wynieść części kurtek do szafy, ponieważ były zbyt cienkie, jak na aktualny klimat.
Tuesday: the cleaning continues.
In the morning, as always, I was in town. Upon my return, I cooked pea soup, which I haven't had in ages. It was really tasty and I think I'll start making it more often. In the afternoon I cleaned the bathroom and the hallway, where it became a huge chaos. I had to take some of the jackets into the closet because they were too thin for the current climate.
Środa: Spotkanie szlachetnej paczki.
Dziś około 17:30 pojechałam na spotkanie, w sprawie wolontariatu dla szlachetnej paczki. Mam za sobą dwa wdrożenia, a te było ostatnim przed spotkaniami z rodzinami. Przydzielono mi dwie rodziny, z dwoma różnymi wolontariuszkami. Nie ukrywam, bardzo się stresuje, ponieważ to mój pierwszy raz, ale jestem dobrej myśli.
Wednesday: noble package meeting.
Today around 5:30 pm I went to a meeting, on volunteering for the noble package. I've had two deployments, and this one was the last one before the meetings with the families. I was assigned two families, with two different volunteers. I can't hide, I'm very stressed because it's my first time, but I'm of good mind.
Czwartek: Dzień dla siebie.
Dziś zostałam w domu i spędziłam czas sama ze sobą. Rano bardzo bolała mnie głowa, przez natłok myśli, który udało mi się opanować dopiero wieczorem. Większość dnia spędziłam na oglądaniu seriali i pielęgnacji ciała.
Thursday: a day for myself.
Today I stayed at home and spent time with myself. My head hurt a lot in the morning, due to a flurry of thoughts, which I managed to control only in the evening. I spent most of the day watching TV series and taking care of my body.
Piątek: Mała impreza.
Dziś w mieście odbywała się mała impreza. Mógł na nią przyjść każdy, kto wpłaci 40 zł. Mateusz, jego brat, nasz kolega i ja stwierdziliśmy, że miło będzie się trochę zabawić i pojechaliśmy na nią. Po wejściu na salę okazało się, że praktycznie nikogo nie znamy, a ludzie dookoła są już bardzo pijani. Gdy poszłam na parkiet, spotkała mnie nieprzyjemna sytuacja, ponieważ oby facet zaczął mnie agresywnie przytulać. Na szczęście szybko udało mi się uwolnić, ale byłam bardzo przestraszona. Około godziny 22 byliśmy już w domu, stwierdzając, że zrobimy after party u Mateusza na ogródku.
Friday: a small party.
A small party was held in the city today. Anyone who paid 40 zloty could come to it. Matthew, his brother, our friend and I decided that it would be nice to have a little fun and we went to it. Upon entering the hall, we found that we knew practically no one, and the people around us were already very drunk. When I went to the dance floor, I was met with an unpleasant situation, because both guys started aggressively hugging me. Fortunately, I quickly managed to free myself, but I was very scared. At about 10 pm we were already at home, stating that we would do an after party at Matthew's house in the garden.
Sobota: Ucieczka przed łosiem.
Dziś spałam do 15, ponieważ after party zakończyło się bardzo późno 😅. Między godziną 16, a 17 wyszliśmy z Mateuszem na spacer. Naszym celem było jezioro Kownatki, gdzie Mateusz nauczył mnie zarzucać wędkę. W drodze powrotnej natknęliśmy się na łosia, który biegł w naszą stronę. Bardzo szybko uciekliśmy, Mateusz podsadził mnie na drzewo i po chwili sam poszedł obejrzeć okolicę. Na drodze było już pusto i dało nam się wrócić bezpiecznie do domu, ale oboje byliśmy zestresowani.
Saturday: elk escape.
Today I slept until 3 pm, because the after party ended very late 😅. Between 4 and 5 pm we went out for a walk with Matthew. Our destination was Kownatki Lake, where Matthew taught me how to cast a fishing rod. On the way back we came across a moose that was running towards us. We ran away very quickly, Matthew put me up a tree and after a while went to see the area himself. It was already empty on the road and we made it home safely, but we were both stressed.
Niedziela: Długi spacer.
Dziś wyszliśmy na przechadzkę dużo wcześniej, aby nie powtórzyć wczorajszej historii. Odwiedziliśmy jezioro w kształcie serca, nad którym oglądaliśmy stado łabędzi. Naliczyła ich 10, ale myślę, że to nie były wszystkie. Następnie, powędrowaliśmy nad jezioro Szkotowo. Spędziliśmy tam dużo czasu, ponieważ poprosiłam Mateusza, aby zrobił mi zdjęcia. Chowając swój telefon, wpadł mi on do wody i leżał tak chwilę, zanim go wyłowiliśmy. Nie jest on ani wodoodporny, ani wodoszczelny, a do tego jest pobity, lecz mimo tego jest cały. Nie wiem jakim cudem, ale bardzo mnie to cieszy. Po całej sytuacji zrobiliśmy kilka fajnych zdjęć, z czego jedno tu dodam.
Sunday: Long walk.
Today we went out for a walk much earlier so as not to repeat yesterday's story. We visited a heart-shaped lake, where we watched a flock of swans. She counted 10 of them, but I think it wasn't all of them. Then, we wandered to Lake Shkotovo. We spent a lot of time there, as I asked Matthew to take pictures for me. While hiding my phone, it fell into the water and lay like that for a while before we fished it out. It is neither waterproof nor watertight, and on top of that it is beaten up, but nevertheless it is whole. I don't know by what miracle, but it makes me very happy. After the whole situation we took some cool pictures, one of which I will add here.
