A letter to Mr Politician
Dear Mr politician,
Am writing this letter in advance to the upcoming election.
We know you are eloquent and so good with words but please with all due respect don't come to us with words you can't and is not ready to fulfill...
Don't tell us you are going to provide free education to our children when inside your tiny head you have already decided that after one or two terms/semester you would stop...
Don't raise the hopes of our poor farmers in the village by ringing in their ears every morning and night how you would provide them fertilizers and machineries to improve their farming when deep down you know that all your sayings are just one of your scheme to win their hearts...
Don't come to us with promises of good roads when you have conceived in your heart that the construction of two motorable road is enough...
Don't come to us with stories of you changing Nigeria, we are not yet done from recovering from the last change that took place...
Don't come to us preaching about peace and security when you have employed all the young jobless boys and girls to do your dirty jobs....
Don't come singing to us with sweet melody about job creation when you are more than ready to give jobs to the unborn children of your fifth generation...
Don't come to us with sweet words urging us to pay our tax when you've got plans to tour the world painting it red as you spend our hard end money with no fear...
Don't come to our places of worship donating large sum of money to our centre of worship when you know down to the marrow of your bones that you are a hypocrite...
Don't come to us for our votes when all your plans is to eat the national moi moi without having any good plans for your motherland...
Don't come to us making us stand under sun and rain when deep down you know what am saying is true
