That is certainly an interesting idea. I do think that I was lucky to be able to get the training at that age, through Boy Scouts. It certainly is VERY important to teach them that the guns themselves are not the problem...I have noticed that the crazy anti-gun people tend to be the people who have never even held a gun before.
