The sun is setting and the Winter cold ( eventhough its officially Autumn ) is replacing the relative warmth of this November day, here in rural Portugal.
Writing this, with a blanket draped around me, I feel a little bit like the boy called Bastian in 'The Never Ending Story', when he's reading a book with that exact title, secretly, in his school's attic.
The difference being: 30 years, or so, in age; this not being my school and me actually renting this space and owning the key.
I used to love that movie though!
Today I spent a handful of hours in ( and around ) my studio, talking with fellow creatives, walking back and forth to my apartment to get more things to move to my creative space and - like yesterday - buying some things that can come in handy or make the place feel even better.

I also got myself this nice, green plant, from an old man selling plants and flowers in his tiny shop in this same street. All extra oxygen is welcome, eventhough I am happy to have a window, unlike the other studios.
I also pinned a lot of my artwork from past ( Hypersensitivosaurus and cold Turkey ) and current projects ( The Monster of Disco ) to the multiplex wall separating me from my Bitcoin 'expert' neighbor.

All in all, I am starting to feel better and better about this place.
My creativity might not be flowing yet but I know ( from experience ) that this can change any day.
I clearly made the right choice, renting this studio.
My stomach is calling me and I dont have anyone at home cooking for me ( plus a banana won't cut it ) so I'll have to go.
*and after helping a fellow creative (woodworker) carry a superheavy metal stove up some stairs and into the common room, I feel like I need some food, a relaxing bath and a restful night
I wish you well, wherever you are ✨
P.S. In case you wondered, the title of this post is a word joke referring to the song Sussudio by Phil Collins that always reminds me of the movie and novel 'American Psycho'.
Yo Vincent, I'm finally feeling some economic safety and was able to send you something for the book. Stay safe, don't go cold turkey haha
Cheers man! I appreciate it
and am happy to hear that you got a little bit of a bigger pocket.
Nice to have you back!✨
P.S. Did you know/ remember that 22 is my favorite number?
Something like that 👽
I see. You were abducted by aliens and they told you.
It's top secret bro can't say anything...
🕵️
I see what you did there, very clever
Hahaha I got the word joke title immediately! What's the plants name? Phil? Or maybe Psycho! Don't trust it!!!!
Haha!
It's not a flesh eating plant ( I think )
I usually don't name my plants but I'll keep it in mind ;^)
This is all very exciting! That's a really nice plant, I guess you are aware that it likes to climb 🙂
Exciting indeed! :<)
I didn't really think about that haha!
Should I give it an option to climb further?
If so, I'll think of a way :<)
Yes, I definitely think so! It's called Devil's Ivy (or Devil's Vine), and it's very resilient 🙂 I used to have one that climbed around a big window, looked so nice.
Look here what I found (so you might get the idea, haha).

Haha! That's awesome! I placed it next to one of the multiplex walls, let's see what happens. I wouldn't mind some extra green inside my studio.
Big hug!💚
Great! Looking forward to future updates regarding the plant 🙂
I already guess about the title of your post and smiled when I got to the end.
It is nice that you ar personaliksing your studio and even added a plant. Lovely-the creative juices will flow for sure - at the right time.
I clearly needed some time to understand the new 'juicer', getting there though ;<)
Nice to hear from you en dikke knuffel!🤗
It's just like that today, the weather has turned cold, it's very cold in the morning, the weather is fine in the afternoon, and then it's cold again at night. It's good that you have a lot of work inside your studio. They are doing it and enjoying it a lot.
So you have cold weather there too? I actually like to see these temperature changes, but it sure helps if there's some sun during the day. It really warms the soul and energizes us.
Yes, it's great to have a studio/ creative space outside of my home.
In fact, I am typing this sitting there, right now.
The place actually looks much more better
✨
