DAY 19 - Distant memory - With love, from the chronicles of an African baby...

We have now reached Day 19 of our lock down in South Africa, and yes, we are behind most other countries but starting to feel what it must be like for others who have been in lock down for longer.

Today we have a constant drizzle and has been raining for around 12 hours now out here in KwaZulu. Probably the best weather for this exercise as it makes for great weather to be indoors under the covers watching movies or bringing on your favourite series.

Found this photo from a couple of months ago when we were out on Midmar dam with the kids enjoying the sunshine and doing some snorkeling. Seems like a distant memory long forgotten, great way to think back and realise the importance of freedoms once taken for granted.

So far we seem to have some control over the situation and hope that we remain that way, there is some call from industry to relax the rules, but personally i think we need to extend the lock down so we don't lose grip on the situation.

Any way people take care, stay home, stay safe and do some cartwheels in the garden if you get bored.
