As I add SP, and look for investors, feel free to delegate! The bot will only get better, and having more voting power will enable it to reward original work by a bigger amount!

The great thing about delegating is that you never lose control of your SP. You can take it out anytime you want.

Is it intentional for it only to be invokable on a primary comment? I was telling someone else about it and noticed it didn't respond on a reply to a comment even when I finally got the bot name right.

Yes, it is intentional. This bot is created to check the originality of posts.
@scorpionking just used this bot on one of my posts so I came to see what it means. This is such a good idea - I hope it grows like crazy. I don't have a lot of SP, but I'm going to read up on how to do delegation.
During the work week I don't get to do much curation, which is a shame. My voting power sits at 100% a lot and I'd like to put it to good use.
Are people downvoting the bot when it points out that it is just copied from somewhere else?

Not really. It has happened, but rarely. Most higher reputation users dont plagiarize, so it hasnt been a problem as of yet.
I also do not accuse them of plagiarizing. I just tell them there is similar content online.
Thats good. You deserve a lot of credit for doing this.
I followed the directions for doing the SP delegation and it seemed to work. At least it gave me a message to say that the transaction was broadcast successfully. How long does the delegation process take? I tried to loan you 20 SP.
