I am excited to say that great progress is being made in compiling the database of #Steemit Users around the World that are out promoting #Steemit and #Steem.

With now nearly 200 #Steemit Users blogging to the #promo-steem tag I am pleased to see so much hard work and dedication that is being put into promoting #Steemit.

The stories about how users are promoting #Steemit and #Steem are a compelling read and I highly recommend readers check out some of their work.

Now is the time

As I mentioned yesterday now is the time to compile a database of these guys that are out promoting #Steemit and #Steem.

So far there are no fewer than 193 #Steemit Users already in the database and I am excited to share it with you as soon as it is completed.

This weekends project

A lot of the work has to be done manually in compiling this database and I decided to make this my project for the weekend.

So far I am confident that at least >90% of the names have be scraped and the database is coming together quite nicely.

If everything goes to plan I am hoping to have it finished by this evening with some other amazing stuff I am working on alongside the database.

cool stuff - i've written some steemit promo posts. I didn't know about the promo-steem tag. I will use it the next time I write a steemit promo post. There's been a chunk of them since I first got here.

The more i participate here on steemit, the more it dawns upon me that this thing here is indeed massive...with massive potential. Incredible is indeed an understatement.
