Uganda has many issues going on, but the some of the issues am going talk about are the problems and challenges we face that the government seems not to be addressing or its actually ignoring them. Uganda since time immemorial has promoted peace and now lives with the individualistic attitude. So, anything that’s goes wrong does not matter much to us , whether its related to the government , corruption, condition of roads, crime and anything else. Some say we living under a failed state since even the government institutions are no longer functioning, not coordinating and even basic needs are no longer basic. We face challenges of un unemployment , poverty, hunger , low per capita income among others and even thou we may think democracy is the solutions,it is really not a solution but a catalyst to our problems since the leaders we choose once they get the positions they close their eyes and shut their ears to our problems. Activists are there to lead the crowd and enlighten the society but most of the times they do not get good response and the ones who do get good response are generally not worthy of it. Population is increasing and the Government can be able to sustain and provide basic needs or social infrastructure for all its citizen.
I introduce you to Steemit ,superman who has come to save our days, long will be the days where per capita income will be low, long will be the days where we will be complaining about theft and bulgary. Steemit earns you money and enough to start a business , you able to learn and even live in a community that even pays you for this.
I have been in Facebook ever since 2009 and truly i have been wasting my time and energy,that iss almost 9 years ago. If Steemit had been there where would i be, sincerely i think i would be rubbing shoulders with big people eg president and ministers, i would have been a person of influence in the society. Not all is lost , i have been in Steemit for less than two days but my friends have really benefited from it. Some have been able to clear the whole amount of university bills, even cleared parents medical bills just to mention a few.
one dollar in Uganda is 3800 almost so if you can make 300 dollars in a day or week ,one is already a millionaire , look how Steemit has changed peoples lives, its my hope thou am still two days in Steemit i may be able to talk and give personal stories and testimonies, a journey starts with a step and am on my baby steps
