The inevitable

I don't really have time to write a post, sorry. But with all the clutter, all the errors, all the to dos, all the pending papers, all the password changes, and the updates;

Ever think that we are just one power surge away from it all getting screwed up? Last night there was a blip and my computer suddenly reset, so when it booted up I powered it down and went to sleep. Nothing of value was lost, thankfully.

Today I heard more about the Github hack, sounds like some VS Code was exploited and that bug lead to other infections which eventually lead to compromised systems, and now Github has been hacked and put up for sale. I don't know all the details but have seen one or two posts about it. Anything else noteworthy?

I've been using paper systems, and the binders are stacking up. I need some more bookshelves so I can clear off my Chair and organize it a bit more, but then I need to worry about other things so the piles will have to do for now. I've got 2 days of reciepts to catch up on, but the page I am using is full already. I should at least complete the index cards, but that might have to wait until Saturday or Sunday.

I still have one hard boiled egg and one crepe with pepperoni and cheese to finish-- finish my coffee. I noticed an ant on the edge of my cup smelling my coffee, so I offer my finger and give him a lift outside. Yes, many things to do. Simplify, simplify.

I have been disconnecting the tangled web of connections I have accumulated on social media, letting go of thousands, many inactive, some deceased, even unknown friends that I just cannot manage to juggle when there are other priorities that must take my limited time and focus. Even now I am writing an update, so I can get those weekly activity badges, but I need to get ready and gather my things, then go to work. I've been writing notes daily, keeping track of life, and getting stuff done.

So I bid you, adieu. I will be back, at some point. Hopefully we can all take account of all our methods and madness before the 'big one' shakes or flares us into insanity. We can hope to avoid such perils. Can I get my stuff cleaned up in time?

I could also use more shelf space for Books. 🙌🏻😂
