Folab use to be a troublesome girl while growing up. She likes to watch movie especially cartoon and most children does but she doesn't have access to such due to her family background. There is a small shop across the road very close to there house where different movie disc are being sold and in other for the owner to advertise his product well he mount a television in front of the shop that every passer by can watch.
The shop became the joint for children whenever they are back from school. Some times the children that were there are being sent on an errand but they will forget themselves including what they are being sent on watching movie.
Folab was in these category of children she has been warned severally but she wouldn't hide to the warning. This time around the man was showing series of cartoon every evening Folab will always make sure she finds herself there whether due to an errand on by snicking out of the house.
A lot of parents have been complaining about the children's attitude and some even go there to chase them away. But this didn't work. This week the vendor is showing spiderman cartoon and this time it looks as if the children went to call themselves because the place was looking like a crusade.
The children were pushing each other so as to see what is being shown. It was at this time Folab's dad sent her on an errand. Although, she has been finding a way to snick out as usual but this time she couldn't because her father was around and her father was a strict man.
After Folab's dad was done eating he decided to sit outside the house and ask Folab to come sit beside him with all her notes and text books from school. It was a big disappointment for the girl because she knew nothing could be done to move her from that sit even her mum at this time can't send her or an errand.
She couldn't cry because the father will ask her why and she can't tell out the reason so she just swell up as of she is going to burst. Sitting down beside her father, she left to urinate severally at a point the father stopped her and told her if she move again then she is in for it.
Her only hope at this time was for one of her father's to come visiting , that is the only way her father's attention can be divided.
For some hours she was there reading by force and the father going through her notes at the same time. Should I say she wasn't actually reading she was just looking at the book absent minded.
She came back to reality when her father called her to bring his wallet and decided to send her on an errand. Her joy knew no boundaries, she stood up quickly and went inside to get it. The father told her what to buy with the money and how much change she should bring back since she is just a little girl.
The way to where Folab was sent was different from the way the movie is being shown but Folab decided to take the route to the movie centre on getting there the movie was like half time down and even the children there has reduced. Folab stayed to watch and while watching she carelessly release the money in her hand and another person picked it up without her noticing. Folab's dad was worried back at home because she should have been back and this made him to go out in search of her daughter on getting to where he sent her the seller said she hasn't seen Folab and to hi. To check another shop opposite the road whether she went there instead of coming to her own store.
Folab's father left has instructed by the lady at this time the fuel the vendor was using got exhausted and automatically movie has come to an end and people starts to leave one after the other that was when it occur to Folab that she was sent on an errand. Checking herself she found out that she couldn't find the money without anybody talk to her or beat her she starts to cry seriously because she knew she is into a big trouble.
While she was checking the floor to see if she could find the money her father crossed the room to check if the other seller have seen her it the seller that told Folab's dad that she her watching movie there and that ignite the annoyance in the man. Getting to the movie spot Folab's dad spotted her but she didn't know coming close to her the father dragged her with her ears it was like a magic.
The father finally knew she has lost the money and made the father more annoyed. On getting home Folab's dad dealt with her mercilessly forgetting the fact that she is still a child it was an old woman living the the compound that rescued her.
