New payment method uses facial recognition software

A new payment method using facial recognition software was introduced to consumers in China recently. Alipay, the world’s largest mobile payment platform, launched the new payment method in a KFC restaurant located in Hangzhou, China. The restaurant is called K-PRO, a new healthier version of Kentucky Fried Chicken. In 2013, Alipay overtook PayPal as the world’s largest mobile payment platform. (Source: Wikipedia)

This new payment method is a significant step in the transition leading to the fulfillment of Bible prophecies regarding a global payment system requiring a mark on the right hand or forehead, called the mark of the beast (Revelation 13:16-18), because it introduces consumers to cashless, biometric payment systems. By the time the mark becomes mandatory, it will likely be perceived as a logical next step with the benefit of being more convenient. Many will be unaware of the downside danger, but the Bible warns anyone who takes the mark “will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night.” (Revelation 14:10-11)

The new payment method is shown in the 3-minute video below, showing how customers place their own orders using a touch screen display, eliminating the need for employees working at the checkout counter. The monitor then scans their face to take payment. Unfortunately, the dialog is in Chinese.
