RE: To Solve a Problem With a Question

in #psychology8 years ago (edited)

It is really easy to go in circles while talking about this topic.
Why don't we have 20-hour work weeks already, despite all the technological advancement? My take on it would be:

  • One, government inefficiency. Creating jobs for the sake of having jobs. Making new taxes to pay the people who invent new taxes. Implementing stupid restrictions, punishing people for innovations (like banning Uber).
  • Monopolies going hand in hand with governments, taking the majority of the pie for themselves under the pretense of playing the saviors of humanity...
  • People are not unhappy with the situation, or not unhappy enough. We all support the current systems by our participation in them. That way, the fat income of the oligarchs will never be cut off...

By all means, check out the post I wrote just earlier today. It might help you come up with some new questions.
