Save Color Options To A Configuration File - Python Tkinter GUI Tutorial 183

In this video I'll show you how to save your color selections to a configuration file so that they're available when the program opens later on.

So you've changed the color of the treeview widget, but you want to save those colors to a config file so that they're available the next time you open the program. That's what we'll do in this video.

We'll create a little .ini file that will save our color selections and load them whenever the program runs. We'll also create a reset function to change the colors back to the default.
