I see in some European countries they often throw away beef tendons while in Asian countries beef tendon is a delicious and unique dish. It’s been a long and really cold in Ha Noi city this year and to cope with the cold weather I made my favorite dishes such as Stew beef dish. This dish is a common dish found in many Vietnam restaurants. Beef tendons are a difficult dish to cook because they are so tough, it will take us a long time to stew it. Luckily, in my recipe, I use a slow cooker simplifies the process, it only takes 30 minutes. My recipe is packed with tons of flavors, its sweet savor, meaty, it is full of collagen and had a satisfying chew.

To make this Stew dish, you need these ingredients:

| 1. Wash the beef, potatoes, carrots and other ingredients. Place the lemongrass and ginger on a cutting board, smashing them with a large knife. Cut potatoes and carrots into bite-sized cubes, then marinate them with 1 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon MSG. | Rửa sạch thịt bò, khoai tây, cà rốt và các nguyên liệu khác. Cut the beef into squares, then stir-fry the beef with 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1 teaspoon broth mix, 1 teaspoon pepper, 1 spoon of wine, ginger, lemongrass, cashew oil, stir-fry for about 2 minutes until the ingredients are absorbed into the meat. | Cắt thịt bò thành từng miếng vuông, sau đó cho thịt bò vào xào với 1/2 thìa cà phê muối, 1 thìa rượu vang, 1 thìa cà phê hạt nêm, 1 thìa cà phê tiêu, gừng, sả, dầu điều, xào khoảng 2 phút cho đến khi các nguyên liệu ngấm vào thịt. |

| 3. Add beef to the pressure cooker, cook for 30 minutes. After 30 mins , let the pressure naturally release. Then transfer to a regular pot, add the carrots and potatoes, add the water and continue to cook for 15-20 minutes until the tubers are tender. By the end of the simmer time the liquid should be thick so you need to cook on low heat. Tranfer to a bolw and enjoy this hearty stew with some hot rice. | Cho thịt bò vào nồi áp suất, nấu trong 30 phút. Sau đó chuyển sang nồi thường, cho cà rốt và khoai tây vào, thêm nước và tiếp tục nấu khoảng 15-20 phút cho đến khi củ mềm. Đến cuối thời gian đun, chất lỏng sẽ đặc nên bạn cần nấu ở lửa nhỏ.
