Does Race/Skin Color matter?
Let us consider first, the beginnings of these perceptions. Because of the need for structure in particular types of societies, histories and discoveries were all cleverly adjusted, omitted, exaggerated, manufactured and flipped. Some of you would say "Never!", our scientists are hard working brilliant scholars with no human impulses and weaknesses and they would never lie". And maybe, all the scientist they know are quite honest and stand up individuals, who like you are raising a family and trying your best while working to make your community a better place. We know the winners of the war tell the story of their coming to do so. So, it is absurd to assume that any monarch would practice incriminating himself and his generals in the grand recordings of his family's magnificent reign.
We are now faced with NOW
What is now? First let's have a look at then. The industrial revolution, the oil barons, or rubber baron era, the silicon era, shipping, manufacturing, many groups of races and people located in various parts of the world. Some would say that Africans around the world the the time of the revolution were not in any position to capitalize on the new methods of extracting and trading resources at that time. Another group would then rise up and claim that overwhelmingly ingenious Black and colored people benefited as greatly especially given recent setbacks (Slavery).
Either way Let's look at NOW. What is now? What opportunities exist now? For me we live in a testing ground for every idea. A space where thoughts and beliefs are shared millions of times a day. A network system that is very difficult to censor. Information can be stitched together and court cases won. Independent artist can work their way through the Industry's traps and forces. Its a dangerous world indeed, but amidst the danger there are gems.
Race is an old attitude based perception
As information and wisdom spreads, the old primitive attitudes of superiority and entitlement fades very slowly away. Then comes a war between the old ideas and the new, the established versus the future. This sparks an avalanche of creativity, in the direction of corruption but gloriously also into new inventions, new systems of trade, new ways of extracting value from created art, new tactics in sales and above all, new discovery. Just to look at the process is beautiful. Its like the man and the woman once again, playing hide and seek, and the woman becomes more clever in her hiding, and the man becomes more creative in his wooing. Until the explosion of it all into a moment of divine perfection.
We cannot Hide
Deep down we have failed ourselves and we know it! We look at the world and blame someone else. We look at our lives and blame a moment, when life happened and you didn't feel good. We blame injuries and test scores, some of us blame drugs, and the dealer, or doctors that prescribed the pills we 'needed'. But the PUBLIC SUCKS! The masses SUCK! I mean in terms of the shit we claim not to like. We do nothing. We pretend to do a bunch.. BUT..... We do nothing. To do something means to do it. Like "I'm getting married!", then the rest of your life, everyday, you operate like a married unhappy person, but you do it. But 1 in 100,000 might do something as significant and will be labeled strange. So where can we start. First stop pretending to like things you don't. Second stop talking about the things you wanna do, just do them. Finally, accept that it's game at any moment, don't expect love and fairness from everyone, some are not in that space so respect the lion when you come upon him and respect the viper when she crawls in. If you need to think about it, it's already muddy.
