Golden Potato Soup
Ingredients
three cups peeled and cubed potatoes
half cup chopped celery
half cup chopped onion
one cube chicken bouillon
one cup water
one teaspoon dried parsley
half teaspoon salt
one pinch ground black pepper
two teaspoons all-purpose flour
one and half cups milk
one and half cups shredded American cheese
one cup chopped ham
Instructions:
In a large stock pot add potatoes, celery, onion, chicken bouillon, water and parsley flakes. Season with salt and pepper and simmer till vegetables become tender. In a separate bowl stir flour and milk. Once it is well blended, add to soup mixture and cook till soup becomes thick. Mix in cheese, cooked ham or hamburger and simmer till cheese is dissolved.
