Me siento feliz de estar aquí de nuevo, compartiendo con todos mis pensamientos y reflexiones. En esta oportunidad lo hago para unirme a la iniciativa que promueve @gabrielazamora10 y a la cual fui invitado por mi siempre fiel amiga @yolimarag.
I am happy to be here again, sharing with everyone my thoughts and reflections. This time I do it to join the initiative promoted by @gabrielazamora10 and to which I was invited by my always faithful friend @yolimarag.
Estuve leyendo sobre esta dinámica y la verdad es que me encantó, con ella Gabriela nos anima a reflexionar sobre preguntas sencillas pero de gran importancia para conocer como nos encontramos en estos momentos de nuestras vidas.
I was reading about this dynamic and the truth is that I loved it, with it Gabriela encourages us to reflect on simple but very important questions to know how we are in these moments of our lives.
No hay más nada que agregar así que espero que les gusten mis respuestas.
There is nothing more to add so I hope you like my answers.
1. ¿Estas feliz con la vida que estas teniendo ahora mismo?
1. Are you happy with the life you are having right now?
Para ser sincero sí, me siento muy bien con cómo se encuentra mi vida en estos momentos, tengo todo lo indispensable para vivir y me siento agradecido por ello. Con los años he aprendido que la felicidad no es un destino al que se llega cuando consigues ciertos logros, todo lo contrario, es más bien una compañera que se nos atraviesa constantemente en este camino al que llamamos vida, eso me ha hecho consciente de que no siempre podemos ser felices pues hay emociones que también son parte de nuestro camino, sin embargo, eso no me quita el sueño.
To be honest yes, I feel very good with how my life is right now, I have everything I need to live and I feel grateful for it. Over the years I have learned that happiness is not a destination that is reached when you achieve certain accomplishments, on the contrary, it is rather a companion that constantly crosses us on this road we call life, that has made me aware that we can not always be happy because there are emotions that are also part of our way, however, that does not keep me awake at night.
2. ¿Si tu vida termina mañana, seguirías haciendo lo mismo que hoy?
2. If your life ends tomorrow, would you continue doing the same things you are doing today?
Sí, aunque cambiaría una única cosa, amar más. Uno de mis errores constantes es que poco les demuestro a mis seres queridos cuanto los amo y sé que debo mejorar eso, lo intento pero puedo hacerlo mejor.
Yes, although I would change only one thing, love more. One of my constant mistakes is that I don't show my loved ones how much I love them and I know I have to improve that, I try but I can do better.
3. La vida pasa en un abrir y cerrar de ojos, ¿por qué crees que hay tantas personas haciendo lo que no les gusta?
3. Life goes by in the blink of an eye, why do you think there are so many people doing what they don't like?
Pienso que las personas en realidad tratan de salir adelante y superarse, tienen buenas intenciones pero a veces no se dan cuenta que al hacer eso que no les gusta en realidad están yendo en reversa, dejando atrás sus sueños y todo lo que los hace sentir vivos, si todos hiciéramos lo que tanto nos gusta este mundo sería distinto.
I think people actually try to get ahead and better themselves, they have good intentions but sometimes they don't realize that by doing what they don't like they are actually going backwards, leaving behind their dreams and everything that makes them feel alive, if we all did what we like so much this world would be different.
4. ¿Qué haces para mejorar tu versión actual?
4. What do you do to improve your current version?
Intento aprender de mis errores y mejorar las cosas que pueda mejorar. Como humano me equivoco y es normal pero aun así trato de aprender cada lección tras un error cometido. A veces no es tan fácil como parece, hay momentos donde cometo los mismos errores de siempre, sin embargo estoy consciente de que la vida es un aprendizaje continuo.
I try to learn from my mistakes and improve the things I can improve. As a human being I make mistakes and it's normal but I still try to learn every lesson after a mistake. Sometimes it is not as easy as it seems, there are moments where I make the same mistakes as always, however I am aware that life is a continuous learning process.
5. ¿Cuál es tu mayor temor?
5. What is your biggest fear?
Morir sin conocer el amor verdadero. No hablo del amor propio o hacia mi familia y amigos, de ese tengo mucho afortunadamente; mi mayor temor es morir sin haber tenido la oportunidad de amar y ser amado plenamente, sin ataduras ni condiciones.
Dying without knowing true love. I'm not talking about my own love or love for my family and friends, fortunately I have plenty of that; my greatest fear is to die without having had the opportunity to love and be loved fully, without ties or conditions.
6. ¿Fallar o no haber intentado?
6. To fail or not to have tried?
No entendí muy bien esta pregunta (emoji) Pero creo que se refiere a lo que llamamos fracaso. Pienso que al no intentar algo que queremos o anhelamos nos estamos fallando a nosotros mismos, mientras que cuando fallamos en algo no se podrá decir que fue por no haberlo intentando…
I didn't understand this question very well (emoji) but I think it refers to what we call failure. I think that by not trying something we want or long for we are failing ourselves, while when we fail at something we can't say that it was because we didn't try...
7. ¿Qué consejo le darías a tu yo más joven?
7. What advice would you give to your younger self?
¡¡¡¡QUE COMPRE DOLARES!!! JAJAJAJAJA, es broma.
BUY DOLLARS!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, just kidding.
Le diría que sea el mismo y que no tenga miedo de mostrase tal cual es porque en futuro podría arrepentirse, que deje el miedo de lado y se atreva a mucho más.
I would tell him to be himself and not to be afraid to show himself as he is because in the future he might regret it, to leave fear aside and dare to do much more.
8. ¿Le temes a la muerte?
8. Are you afraid of death?
Pensando en esto me doy cuenta que si muero mañana lo habré hecho sabiendo que en 22 años fui muy feliz y afortunado, tuve el amor de una familia y los amigos, me divertí muchísimo y viví muchas cosas, sin embargo no puedo negar que le temo a la muerte, a no saber si hay algo después de ella o si simplemente no hay nada.
Thinking about this I realize that if I die tomorrow I will have done it knowing that in 22 years I was very happy and fortunate, I had the love of a family and friends, I had a lot of fun and lived many things, however I can not deny that I fear death, not knowing if there is something after it or if there is simply nothing.
9. ¿Vives o sobrevives?
9. Do you live or survive?
Un poco de ambas, no lo puedo negar. La situación que vivimos nos convierte en sobrevivientes cada vez que nos toca afrontar las circunstancias, pero a pesar de ello nunca me olvido de vivir y lo hago, o al menos lo intento, cada día de mi vida.
A bit of both, I can't deny it. The situation we live in turns us into survivors every time we have to face circumstances, but in spite of that I never forget to live and I do it, or at least I try to, every day of my life.
