Good Afternoon, Steemians!

Sometimes I find that I am tired during the day, but try to lay down to nap, but simply can't. I have things running through my mind, and/or the effects of my morning coffee (caffeine) don't allow me to easily go to sleep by myself.
One of these such times just occurred, minutes ago. What I usually do is listen to The Honest Guys YouTube videos in which they use soothing music and voice coupled with the power of suggestion to hypnotize me into a state of deep relaxation/meditation. I can truly attest that this works.
I am going to share a few YouTube Videos that are my go-to videos to listen to when I feel I need to relax, and almost 100% of the time, I either come out of it feeling completely relaxed with 20-30 minutes having gone by or I actually fall asleep and wake up sometimes up to an hour later. Either way, I come to feeling such relaxation that I know I wouldn't have been able to produce on my own.
This has been my go-to video for years now. It's 30 minutes in length, and the hypnotist describes you being at a perfect beach. Nothing but relaxation will happen. He uses a technique that many hypnotists use, which is for you to tense all of your muscles up before then letting go. This loosens your body to an amazing degree which I wouldn't have ever thought possible until I tried it and it worked. This video has proved successful for me time and time again. I usually wake up at the end after falling asleep for 10-15 minutes or sometimes I will wake up halfway through another video that YouTube has auto-played.
This was a new one I tried today. Even with my next-door neighbor weed-whacking the shit out of his yard through the whole hypnosis and me not even using headphones, I was able to succumb to the wishes of my hypnotist. This one is like a chloroform triggered induction. I know, sounds kind of weird, but I just used a thin hand towel and draped it over my face. Worked like a charm.
Sometimes I also just listen to nature sounds on YouTube, but find that the hypnotist thing works best for me.
Do you ever have trouble napping? Do you ever use meditation or hypnotism to get yourself feeling relaxed again? Let me know :D
Hope you all have a great rest of the weekend!

thanks for sharing this. I'm going to try this out.
