The Lord's Supper reminds us that in a moment we will join Christ at the table along with many other believers.
For I received from the Lord what I have also taught you: That the Lord Jesus, on the night he was betrayed, took bread; 24 And when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, Take, eat; This is my body that is broken for you; Do this in remembrance of me. 25 He also took the cup after he had supped, saying, This cup is the new covenant in my blood; Do this as many times as you drink it, in memory of me. 26 Therefore, as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you announce the death of the Lord until he comes.

Every time we participate in this memorial dinner together we remember that the body and blood of Christ have been totally shed on the cross for all of us, we remember the past, our present as children of God and we also point to the future, when sin and death have already been defeated forever after these wedding feasts for which we are preparing.
And the angel said to me: Write: Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me: These are true words of God.

In the presence of God today we are preparing to live that party and then an eternity with him. La cena del Señor nos trae a memoria que en un momento nos reuniremos con Cristo en la mesa junto a muchos otros creyentes.
Porque yo recibí del Señor lo que también os he enseñado: Que el Señor Jesús, la noche que fue entregado, tomó pan; 24 y habiendo dado gracias, lo partió, y dijo: Tomad, comed; esto es mi cuerpo que por vosotros es partido; haced esto en memoria de mí. 25 Asimismo tomó también la copa, después de haber cenado, diciendo: Esta copa es el nuevo pacto en mi sangre; haced esto todas las veces que la bebiereis, en memoria de mí. 26 Así, pues, todas las veces que comiereis este pan, y bebiereis esta copa, la muerte del Señor anunciáis hasta que él venga.
1 Corintios 11:23-26
Recordamos este momento y aún no podemos ver pintado en muchísimos retratos interpretado por diferentes artistas, la cena del señor en el momento de su traición, el señor Jesús junto sus discípulos alrededor de la mesa celebró la Pascua y durante el momento de la comida el señor Jesucristo enseñó aquellos una nueva interpretación de esta gran cena Pascual.
El señor asoció el pan con su cuerpo y el vino con su sangre identificando así y poniéndose como ese cordero pascual que quita realmente los pecados del mundo. Aquí también entendemos que la comunión también es esta cena y que se celebra desde ese día hasta hoy entre muchos de los hijos de Dios, recordemos que el señor dijo: "haced esto todas las veces que la bebiereis, en memoria de mí".
Cada vez que participamos de esta cena memorial juntos recordamos que el cuerpo y la sangre de Cristo han sido totalmente derramado en la cruz por todos nosotros, recordamos el pasado, nuestro presente como hijos de Dios y también apuntamos al futuro, cuándo el pecado y la muerte ya hayan sido derrotado para siempre después de estas fiestas de bodas para las cuales estamos preparándonos.
Y el ángel me dijo: Escribe: Bienaventurados los que son llamados a la cena de las bodas del Cordero. Y me dijo: Estas son palabras verdaderas de Dios.
Apocalipsis 19:9
En la presencia de Dios hoy nos estamos preparando para vivir esa fiesta y después una eternidad junto a él. Aún si usted siente que está muy cerca o muy lejos de Dios, debes saber por sobre todas las cosas que Dios le ama sin condición y tiene una invitación abierta a sentarse en esta mesa, una celebración diaria en la cual apunta a una celebración eterna junto a Dios. El pan y el vino, su cuerpo que ha sido derramado nos habilita a acceder a esa cena, un lugar de recordación y sobretodo una gran fiesta para vivir junto al señor, todos tenemos esta invitación. ¿aceptas la invitación a esta preparación?.
