Our Lord Jesus is the one who opens and closes doors but he is also the key to the door to eternal life.
7 To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These things say the Holy One, the True One, who has the key of David, who opens and no one shuts, and shuts and no one opens:
Revelation 3.7
Imagine the following situation: you lock your car door, at one point a sudden storm arrives and you are desperate to enter through the shelter and you can't find the key, finally the rain falls very hard and you end up wet How do you feel?.
Our Lord Jesus Christ has the key to the kingdom, he is the key to heaven, "The key of David." Isaiah announces that he would come as the legitimate King and as such he has the capacity and authority to open and close the doors of the Kingdom.
To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: This is what the Holy One, the True One, who has the key of David, says, He who opens and no one closes, and closes and no one opens:

This is what the Lord Jesus Christ says about himself, let us remember that this church "Philadelphia" has been very persecuted and yet it is the same Lord Jesus Christ who opens the doors and did so in this situation. The kingdom of God is near, it is within our reach.
17 From then on Jesus began to preach and say: Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

It is the word of God that gives us freedom from sin and freedom, when we trust in the word of God and in his ways we have certainty and begin to live a full life.
Through Jesus Christ we have an invitation to freedom, no matter what happens, understanding that he is the key to access, Our Lord always opens the way to full and abundant life. We have the possibility and opportunity to lead others to Christ, to the door opened through him.

Nuestro Señor Jesus es quien abre y cierra puertas pero él es también la llave de la puerta a una vida eterna.
7 Escribe al ángel de la iglesia en Filadelfia: Esto dice el Santo, el Verdadero, el que tiene la llave de David, el que abre y ninguno cierra, y cierra y ninguno abre:
Apocalipsis 3.7
Imagínate la siguiente situación: cierras la puerta de tu auto con llave, en un momento llega una tormenta repentina y te desesperas para ingresar por el resguardo y no encuentras la llave, finalmente la lluvia cae con mucha fuerza y terminas mojado ¿Cómo te sientes?.
Nuestro Señor Jesucristo tiene la llave del reino, él es la llave de los cielos, "La llave de David". Isaías anuncia que vendría el Rey legítimo y él como tal tiene la capacidad y autoridad para abrir y cerrar las puertas del Reino.

Esto es lo que el Señor Jesucristo dice de si mismo, recodemos que esta iglesia "Filadelfia" ha sido muy perseguida y aún así es el mismo Señor Jesucristo es el que abre las puertas y lo hizo así en esta situación. El reino de Dios está cercano está a nuestro alcance.
17 Desde entonces comenzó Jesús a predicar, y a decir: Arrepentíos, porque el reino de los cielos se ha acercado.

Es la palabra de Dios la que nos da libertad del pecado y de la, cuando confiamos en la palabra de Dios y en sus caminos tenemos certeza y comenzamos a vivir una vida plena.
Por medio de Jesucristo tenemos una invitación a la libertad, sin importar lo que sucede entendiendo que él es la llave para acceder, Nuestro Señor siempre abre camino a la vida plena y abundante. Nosotros tenemos la posibilidad y oportunidad para llevar a otros a Cristo, a la puerta abierta por medio de él.
