Quite time is a time you spend all alone with God. It is a private time for personal retreat. It is a solemn moment you spend to meditate, study God’s word and to pray to the Almighty. It is a fellowship time with the Holy Spirit for communion between man and Divinity. In other words, a closed door meeting with God the Father, Son and the Holy Ghost.

GOD COMMANDED JOSHUA TO HAVE A DAILY QUITE TIME

TEXT:JOSHUA 1:8

This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.

DAVID HAD QUIET TIME

TEXT: PSALMS 63:1 and 6

God, thou art my God: early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;
When I remember thee upon my bed, and meditate on thee in the night watches.

DANIEL HAD QUIET TIME

Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Daniel prayed at specific time of the day. It was a habit he was used to doing. It was one of the greatest secret of his life.

JESUS HAD QUIET TIME

Jesus had a habit of going to a particular garden for retreats. It was a place he went often and everyone knew His habit of praying in the garden.

When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the Brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, alongside his disciples.
And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus oftentimes resorted thither with his disciples.

Having a Quiet Time makes you develop the most important personal habit of all time. Spend quality time with your creator daily.
During your Quiet Time, you draw nearer to God and He draws nearer to you.
TEXT: JAMES 4:8
Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.
Quiet Time is your personal School of the Word.

I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
Howbeit when he, the Spirit of Truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

During your Quiet Time you sit and learn at the feet of the greatest teacher – The HOLY SPIRIT. He will teach you all things and show you many wonderful revelations in the word.

Quiet Time helps you to increase in your personal knowledge of the scriptures and to add to your Faith.

During your Quiet Time, you experience the Presence of God. There is the search in every human being for the Presence of God. Quiet Time will offer you the opportunity as you observe your quiet time.

Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of Joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

And they heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day: and Adam and his wife hide themselves from the presence of the LORD God amongst the trees of the garden.
*Daily Quiet Time prevents hurts and reduces pain in this life.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

Daily Quiet Time brings inner healing. The word of God had a way of healing us of our pains and wounds. God will touch you where it hurts and heal you of every situations in your life.

He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

A daily Quiet Time produces faith in the average Christian.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
