John 6:26-27King James Version (KJV)
26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
27 Labour not for the meat which perisheth, but for that meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed.
Why do you follow God? Do you follow God because of the earthly gains? Why exactly do you follow God? What motivates you to go to church? What motivates you to give offerings in the church? What motivates you to help the Poor?
Your belly should not be your God. Your skin should not be your God. Seek those things which above, for they perish not.
Seek the Lord with all your heart for whom he is. Seek him as your loving Father. Hunger and thirst for righteousness. Let the imperishable be your main focus.
When you seek first his kingdom and righteousness, all other things shall be added unto. The good car, good house, a good spouse, good health, etc, all shall be added, but you have to seek him first.
May God grant you the strength to seek him.

Thanks, bro and stay blessed. As a Muslim, my idea of following God is because he created us and then sent us to the earth like people go to the examination hall. Now it is up to us whether we solve the exam in a good way or in bad way. Love humanity and humans.
