Remix OS – An alternative to BlueStacks and its different!

in #remix-os8 years ago

Remix OS is a mix of Windows and Android operating systems which is a new initiative by Jide to bring some innovative features for a better experience. I have tried using it and felt that its still in development phase but has a lot of scope in future. It will be an exciting product to use especially for those who were using BlueStacks on their Windows PC.

On 1st Feb 2016 they have released the 32Bit version of Remix OS and currently its 2.0 version can be installed in a USB Flash drive by following the instructions mentioned on their official website. Remix OS can also be installed on your hard drive but as it is still in development phase, it is recommended to try it out by installing on a USB Flash drive.

Its open source, something new and has cool features which makes me write this post about it. It has very less RAM and storage requirements and gives a whole new experience of Android on PC which is as easy as Windows on PC. I recommend trying it out and appreciate/give feedback about this product to 3 ex-Google engineers who started Jide.
