'Two and a Half Men' is an American sitcom which was aired on September 22, 2003.

The sitcom is about two brothers and one of them has a son and in addition to that there are more characters who fits in as the story progress by. The life which every man wants (from my point of view) is lead by one of the brother 'Charlie Sheen' which is extravagance wealth , ladies, music all in, nothing to worry about life until his younger brother 'Jon Cryer' (Alan Harper) and his kid enters into Charlie's life.
Ahm... ahm....be aware spoilers ahead!!
While charlie as being the elder brother he was not able to see his little brother come on road so he let his kid and him stay at his beach house where they were suppose to stay for few days but that few days unfortunately turned to few years but still Alan has no plan in moving out. Alan envy's his brother's life and he wishes his life was like his but due to his way of leading his life as a result he never gets to live that life like his brother does.
Well after so many years Charlie living the life that he always wanted he gets to realize that his life is going nowhere and probably it his time to settle down and yet there are some twists as the series goes by as he gets afraid of living that new life as he is accustomed to live by his own rules. As it says sitcoms never gets boring and this series has some of the best topic to move along and to enjoy be that it may be childish or little erotic !

As for me, unlike many other sitcoms the very first episodes it was not a continuous story but as it started to move on it started to become story orient and that is when you start to enjoy the series. Likewise, the comic timing of charlie was one of the interesting part that will keep you alive in the whole series. Not only that, Alan one of the best character who successfully plays the role of a dumb person and does not leave a chance to entertain the audience. He really made his character literally one of the best one in the whole series. Not to forget Alan's son 'Jake' his innocence at the very beginning does impresses the audience and slowly due to the affect of his uncle Charlie he becomes a good lad both in style and perception of ladies but after all he is father's son so some dumbness is bound to be there !
The plot is really simple and how three people leads their life in this series and like I stated many more characters gets involved in the series like Alan's wife and her lovers , Charlie's stalker which makes it even more interesting. I really love the boy's (Charlie & Alan) love towards their mom (watch the show and you will understand). The other characters play was pretty decent as well.
In this kind of sitcoms if you really look towards logic then you will just waste your time. My view is they are made to entertain us so just sit back and enjoy the flow of the series and laugh as much as you can. I watched the series as long as charlie was in the series but due to some circumstances he was removed from the series and Ashton Kutcher gets in the series. I guess I lost interest as soon as that incident took place.
Disclaimer: Watch the series alone as there are some explicit scenes/episodes which are not really worth watching with your family !
