In my opinion the correction is still not fully over. Rather this is the time for stabilizing. The confidence of investors is shaken by various news from around the world like heist in Japanese Exchange, Korean episode, Indian Government announcement and stiff attitude for non acceptance of cryptos by various Governments. This is a good thing for cryptos in the long run. This stabilizing period would give the investors to re-enter the market at lower level who felt it had gone way too up. More investors would come in slowly and momentum will build up. For sure the next peak would be at least twice we achieved this January. Cheers.

You can mute people by clicking their username to get the pop-up menu, and then there's a "Mute" button (as well as a "Follow" button). If you click Mute, this will stop you from seeing their posts and comments. If they have commented on a post you're reading, there will be a button at the very end of the comments you can click in order to reveal them.
Unfortunately, you cannot mute the effect of flags, or their visibility.
It would be nice to have a button on a page, "Show me everything that has been downvoted" as the need for continuous clicking is a little annoying.
It could be a lot better, and the next iteration likely will be. Hopefully it'll be based on SMTs.

The "Show me all" button was a great idea! A whitelist function where you could preapprove a users content would also be nice. If a user got downvoted regularly, like @haejin here, I would then be able to read his posts without having to reveal it each time.
Yes! I really like your idea, the "you're not worthy to read my output" although I'm not sure how it would be implemented.
I guess at an individual level makes sense -- but the UI might be a bit burdensome...

I think Ripple got hit by the hype train in a big way right after the bitcoin boom in December. I remember the most hipster of crypto traders coming out of the woodwork to offer the advice to buy ripple in a somewhat condescending way. I have to say I bit, and I bit hard. Luckily, once it was up I started to worry a bit and do a bit more digging. I personally decided that I wasn't as comfortable as some with the regulatory aspects of XRP, and sold out a good portion of my position, which happened to be a good idea at the time. While I do still have a position, I felt I needed to scale back until I was more certain of the product we will actually get back from Ripple. It will be interesting to see if banks do begin to adopt this technology into their businesses and whether or not that will be through XRP.

I googled this accusation of fraud and couldn't find any confirming news articles.
That's because it is only an opinion. Upvoted. He somehow got rid of some of my reputation and all I did was search for TRX info and make a comment because I liked a post. So whatever he is accusing Haejin of, he is in turn hurting the community more and running people off. Makes it feel like this whole thing is just a commy pyramid scheme. My posts don't even get any views for some reason and I always thought that was strange. It may be his job to go around screwing people if he hasn't been dealt with yet, that would be less Steemit has to payout. Just a theory though as I am not super familiar with the platform yet but I thought it was better than Youtube at first until the above happened. I wonder if there is a way to get them to deal with him somehow.
