I do take it easy if I have had any time off from running. I am finding that it takes longer to recover as I get older. Can't really afford to injure myself as that really sets me back.

I took on a more balanced approach and now i am back to 5-10km runs at a 6min / km pace with no knee problems afterwards. Lesson learned!

I need to be careful as it was pretty icy out today. Very easy to slip and damage myself. I'm just enjoying the running lately and want to keep going.
