Welcome to the third game of Safe Crack created by @keverw

As this game runs over time and is played more and more this account earns SteemPower which isn't directly transferable. I have decided to donate the voting power of this account to Project Better. Learn more about the Project Better here

Be sure to follow @safecrack to see new games on your Steemit Homepage

TL;DR: Upvote this main post you are viewing right now and comment a 4 digit number more than 0000 to enter

Safe Crack is a game where you guess the 4 digit code to unlock the safe. Whoever is closest to the actual code wins. If there are multiple winners, then the payout will be split between them.

This game only requires a upvote and a comment, otherwise, it's free to play.

The contents of the safe are the post rewards from this post that will be paid out as Steem Tokens and Steem Dollars after the first payout in approximately 24 hours. Then this post will be scored and what's paid out in Steem Tokens and Steem Dollars will be rewarded to the players - both the winners and participants.

How to Play

To participate in this game, upvote the main post and comment with a 4 digit number such as 1234 that's more than 0. Do not write the code out like one two three four as the scoring script doesn’t understand English. It just simply is looking for the first four set of numbers in your comment.

If you get your post in after the scoring script was ran, your entry will be ignored so make sure you get them in within 24 hours from this posting.

If you comment multiple times with a number, the scoring script will accept whichever it discovered first. Only one guess per user per game round is allowed.

How Payout Works

The posts Steem Tokens and Steem Dollars from the first payout will go into the rewards pool. 10% of the Steem Tokens and 15% of the Steem Dollars will be kept as the reward for the running of, development and maintenance of this game along.

This also helps cover any rounding for anything below the third decimal place such as if someone won 0.0001, then it'd have to be paid out as 0.001 since Steem has 3 decimal precision.

In the unlikely event that enough people don't play, and no or not enough earnings for the post then the game will be voided and therefore no payout. Also if there happens to be no SBD printed as part of post rewards until the marketcap improves then 30% of the Steem Tokens will be exchanged to Steem Dollars for the Steem Dollar part of the rewards pool on the internal exchange.

The payout stages are:

  • Step 1: 90% of the Steem Tokens the post earned will pay out as Steem Power to everyone who participated(Upvoted main post + commented a 4 digit code to be counted as a participant) with everyone getting a minimum of 0.001.
  • Step 2: 85% of the Steem Dollars the post earned will be split up between the people who guessed the correct code or was close such as only x +/- off.

The winning number is determined before the game starts.

Fair Hash: e295e2b31a458c397e99eb3048e6c73be8fb6d4f162e47e14ecb193911cd73ea

After this round of the game is over, this post will be updated with the winning number and a verification word. If you SHA-256 hash the gameNumber + saltString + code you can verify the outcome matched the fair hash provided.

Hi! I am a content-detection robot. I found similar content by the same author:
https://steemit.com/safecrack/@safecrack/crack-the-safe-1

I think you commenting is hurting the potential of this game. The first game did so great and you didn't comment on it. Could you please whitelist the @safecrack account so you don't post if it's the same content by the same author? The rules and about section of the game is the same for every post.

I take a small cut from every game, but I've spent serval days worth of time scripting this game, learning how to interact with the blockchain and modifying things between games to improve things and fixes.

I know you are a bot, but unsure how to get your attention. I am a bit frustrated right now. Some curation bots ignore my post because of your comment. I noticed many on the first post upvoted but didn't actually play. Probably to help boost the award pool for people playing since those whales didn't really need the rewards from such a game.

I've never flagged anyone before on Steemit, and I hope once I get your attention you can adjust things and I'll unflag these posts. I don't know if flagging causes some sort of alert to go off in your bot to maybe check comments.

If you look at cheetah's blog, you would have noticed and been able to read cheetah bot explained.
This has all the information you need, and also states that I am the owner. Cheetah also follows only one user, myself, which also was intended to show ownership. Not sure how to make this more clear.

Anyways, with the massive influx and epidemic of 'games' currently occurring, I have no idea how to currently handle this situation.

In the meantime, I will whitelist the @safecrack account under the assumption that it will only be used for this game.

Thank you for the white list :)

I was just having my computer read me that post you linked. "It has never been a 'plagiarism bot', but unfortunately this connotation remains. ". Interesting. I never knew it was never a plagiarism bot. I was thinking people looked at it like that.

I am at least happy you aren't flagging posts automatically unless they are on the blacklist. I think some early bots automatically just down voted everything.

Check the comment section in that post as well, there's some great discussion between @franks and myself, related to some of this. :)

Get off his ass, he's a bot. What he says is true, doesn't make it bad...

You can contact @crypto in Steemit chat

But it's just a bot dude...

Actually, now that I think about it, it's @pfunk bot, but it's no big deal :)

Ah, you're right... my bad...

Oh thanks :) I actually like @pfunk - I voted him for Witness and has actually read and upvoted some of his content.

Edit: I just sent him some feedback :)

If I knew it was @pfunk bot, I probably wouldn't of got so upset with it commenting actually.

The number 9 trending post right now clearly states that cheetah is my bot. Not sure how there is so much misinformation about the owner. :o

Wait its your bot @anyx and not @pfunk? So confused right now lol. Well I posted my feed back here too in that image if it is yours. So you can see it also.

I haven't checked trending recently. Pretty much just been reading people I've followed.

Yeah I guess but some tools go by that bot even commenting as a bad signal. So that's the part that really annoys me.

Edit: Noticed you commented with his owner.

I went ahead and unflagged his posts on here. I know I seen someone else did that when it found their own post too... So I didn't know if it did anything but I'm guessing probably not.

Thanks for the contact information. I'll go ahead and message a improvement suggestion.

Edit again: I went to go ahead and message after I edited my message here... I guess he doesn't go by the same username on Steemit chat? I see many crypto people.

I think you do yourself more harm by attacking a bot here, I mean... Think about it, it's alerting us there is content similar elsewhere. Most time we can see very clear what's up, he is just a bot not some jury that's decided this is a

SCAM

Just relax and as this game delevopes the operator will deal with it...

But please don't flag the bot, we need him :)

Yeah. Not really trying to attack the bot, I know I've actually ignored posts that cheetah has commented on before. I know your not saying this is a scam but you bolded it I noticed....

Just in case anyone is wondering: https://steemd.com/@safecrack?page=1 shows the payouts. I'm actually wanting to make some other games on here and been talking about possibly collaborating with someone else too.

I spent more time working on this game then I've earned at this point but I'm doing this as just a experiment and learning. So I'm not trying to be a bad actor here, just a bit frustrated.

OMG

I said that before, obvious plagiarism...

Thank you :)

"We don't judge the quality of the contents, and we don't have man-power to detect plagiarism(But we will skip the posts that @cheetah had commented)"

Interesting, you selected this post anyways :) Sweet! I am much happier now :) I recently started donating my own power and this accounts power. Probably any future games too. You guys are doing an awesome community project. Anyways, you've made my day :)

Note that there are two different cheetah comments, one that is 'repost by the same author' and one that is 'found similar content'.

Bots can chose to act on the difference.

Just wanted to say thank you from the safe crack #2 I did get the Steem and SteemPower you promised

You're welcome :) I'm hoping over time the game will get more attention and do much better. I guess I got to hope I find some whale that supports this idea of a game :)

True I wanted others to know its working thats why I posted hope it helps.
