I don't know who on the platform still has some SBDs handy, but this is pretty wild to watch. Prices are spiking. I think @acidyo called it when he published how a Korean exchange is now listing Steem and people can buy it straight from fiat. It's pumping the price of sbds and it's raised the price of steem seemingly by 60 cents preactically overnight.
What's @clayop have to do with this?
Community building is important. This program created by @followbtcnews and @crimsonclad (the witness is @followbtcnews) allows people to delegate to a central account and receive automatic votes from it. It's designed to help build a community account and incentivize people to delegate into that community account. It's also a free tool that the Minnow Support Project leadership can help you setup.
What is the correlation to post payout's and SBD versus just STEEM price. There does seem to be an impact on post pricing, and it would be good to explain this if someone understands it better.

And also, secondly, I would say, voting because you actually like something, instead of voting in hopes of getting voted back.
The latter is what leads to crappy content in the trending pages, and the trending pages is the first thing a person who visits steemit sees, and whether he stays or not often depends on this first impression.
Hopefully if money is spread around more evenly (which is what MSP is about, I suppose), the trending pages' quality will go up, and the community will grow as a result.
Yeah I had an odd impression from the trending when I first got on but the support posts and community they showed after setting up my account was what I was focused on so that helped.

This SBD price is just incredible, I remember the last time it was high, but even then it wasn't that high. I smell good times for Steem and Steemit.
But is SBD supposed to be climbing!? I thought the whole idea was that it was a stable "pegged" base for STEEM to be bought/sold with?
