Greetings friends and brothers...
Yesterday was the celebration of mothers' day at my daughter's school. My daughter studies in an Adventist school, it was a simple celebration but beautiful.
One of the main tasks of the school, in addition to educational academic teaching, is to impart love, values and hope. There they always teach them about the value and importance that the family has for society, so based on their principles, the celebration was based on them.
First the children sang beautiful songs, referring to the family. Then we went to the classroom to receive the gifts our children made. My daughter made me a beautiful card and a picture portair.
The teacher gave us a book called The Power of Hope - How to defeat depression, anxiety, guilt and stress. Although the school is Adventist, there are families who are not Adventists, and who may have other religious beliefs, however, the teacher explained that the reason for the book, was to impart hope in these times in which the country is crossing a situation that has greatly affected society and especially the family.
All of us who live in Venezuela, we know what I mean. Many families have been divided either by discussions due to the economic problem of the home or simply because one of the parents emigrates to seek improvements in another country and they end up diverting their way and forgetting about the family they have left here in Venezuela and get carried away by the temptations that the devil gives them.
This has been one of the greatest consequences that Venezuela is currently going through, and it is important to rescue those values that have been lost and that the enemy, by means of oppression, takes advantage of to destroy families.
Unfortunately in recent years the indices of divorce and separation have increased in Venezuela in a big way and that brings great consequences to society, as children grow up with emotional and behavioral difficulties, which affects their entire environment, be it family, In their school, for example, they lower their performance, in their circle of friendship, in the way they relate to others. All this can make them easy prey for people who want to lead them to the wrong path.
That is why as mothers (and parents in general) we must be very aware of our children, pray for them at all times and for our family, our home. So that the light and hope of Christ always shine in each one of the members. Likewise, let us continue to pray for our country so that it will soon be liberated and we will have a blessed Venezuela with restituted families, family members returning to the country, happy children and adolescents and a better economy.
Let's not lose the Hope because soon the country will rise.
