Are we ready for planet Mars?

Before I will share something, I just want to greet you a Happy Saturday Steemians. Hope and pray you will have a nice mood right now.

Today I will share about the planet Mars.

As what I researched, the countdown has staring this year to send humans to Mars. Is this for real? I know that we are not ready. Yes we are! And it is possible that we will be ready!

Steemians as what I read, 2018 is the best and great time to visit Mars. Ohh really??

This July 2018, The Earth and Mars will become closer than at any other point in the last 15 years. Mars will reach the nearest point while the Earth passes directly between Mars and Sun.

Definitely, we are not ready to send humans to planet mars. But if we are ready we should need to address this three big challenges: Rockets, restlessness and radiation also.

The moon is the ideal choice for a preliminary base. It's a hell of a lot closer to Earth for one thing - A journey time of a few hours instead of a journey time of 18 months. In the short/medium term, this means that all the inevitable bugs and errors that will crop up in the development and application of such technologies can be dealt with more easily. Astronauts on Mars will be infinitely more stranded in the case of a disaster.
In the longer term, the eventual development of launch facilities and factories on the moon would allow for easier access to the rest of the solar system. Lower gravity means larger vessels can be launched with less fuel. With the potential for asteroid mining (already being posited by various groups), after a while we wouldn't even need to launch the raw materials from Earth.

Flying off to Mars to plant a flag and pick up some dirt is fine for space science PR, but it's a bridge-to-far in terms of practicality. We're not going anywhere far or sustainable without either some sci-fi miracle like warp speed, or proper development of the moon.

Great article. Keep it up
