One of the most mysterious places in the world is the Bermuda Triangle.
Bermuda Triangle is also known as the "Devil's Triangle" which is said to have claim at least 1000 lives, 20 planes and 50 ships in the past 100 years. It is located 700,000km of the sea from Florida to Puerto Rico.
Bermuda Triangle is a triangular area. An area shaped like a dented trapezium, in western part of North Atlantic ocean.
The myth about Bermuda Triangle is the vast disappearance of yachts, planes and ships over the years. The surprising part is that there is no evidence of this disappearance.
Some people believe that Bermuda Triangle is where the devil dwell and that's what result in them calling it "the devil's triangle".

This are questions that many of us still ask ourselves but, scientists believe that Bermuda triangle is caused by a build-up methane at the bottom of the sea.
Methane is likely to have leaked from deposits of natural gas deeper below the sea bed, then create cavities which eventually burst, once the pressure gets too high.
This lead to a massive blow up of gas, which could cause a boat or ship to fail if it was passing at the height of the explosion.
Russian scientist Igor Yeltsov, deputy head of the Trofimuk Institute, said: "There is a version that the Bermuda Triangle is a consequence of gas hydrates reactions.

Christopher Columbus was the first person to report Bermuda Triangle and also wrote in his journal that inside the triangle, ships compass stopped working.
It is one of the rare places o. Earth where compass does not point towards magnetic North but instead it point towards the true North which crate confusion that lead to the disappearance of so many ships.
Bermuda triangle covers large area of about 440,000 miles of the sea.
The effect of Bermuda Triangle is not fixed; it can also be experienced outside of the triangle too.
Debris of planes and ships cannot be found whenever they disappear. The reason is simply because the gulf stream runs near the triangle which quickly wash away the debris.
More than 1000 lives, ships and planes have been lost within the last 100 years.
US government has AUTEC (Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center) which is located on Andros Island of Bahamas. US navy test their submarines, sonar and other weapons there.
The methane which is build up at the bottom of the sea is just an hypothesis carried out by scientists. The main caused is still yet to be discover...
