This is my entry for the Secrets of Organ Playing Contest Week 86.
I improvised a simple hymn prelude on the tune, PICARDY. The sample set was the Chemnitz Sauer organ by Sonus Paradisi. The solo features the Clarinet in the tenor register and a gentle quaver accompaniment is provided in the RH.
I didn’t have any time to prepare any repertoire this week and I’m a very novice improviser, so I decided I’d just give it a go because I have nothing to lose.
Thanks for your entry!
