This may be repetitive but, although the internet has been with us for several years. Experts in cybersecurity say that we make these mistakes over and over again. Here we list them.
1. Click on unknown links
Our curiosity wins us and we end up entering sites that can harm our security, crackers are experts in deceiving us with influential notices.
2. Connect to Wi-Fi networks
Not everything that is free is good, once we enter a public Wi-Fi network we can be an easy target for our facebook, twitter, etc. sessions to be stolen. Even that they mine cryptocoins with our equipment.
3. An outdated software
As obvious as it seems, it does not update our operating system, programs, etc. It puts us at risk to be vulnerable to possible viruses or attacks.
4. Suspicious applications
Try to download the applications from its official website, in the case of mobile devices use the Play Store or the App Store.
5. Predictable passwords
Suffice it to say that choosing a good password for our accounts is more than important, do not repeat the same password in more than one account, and if you have problems use a password manager like LastPass.
Do not forget plan B, make backup copies of your cell phone, laptops, etc. Always take it into account.
Finally, you do not download anything from the internet if you do not have the certainty that the source is reliable.
