I'm making my jeans-ish pant for the second time. Last year this time I made the first one. I wore it to Steem Fest and no one said it's strange. I wear it daily basis. It's not breaking ... !
While I was working on the second one today, I had a thought that sometimes we just believe that it's not possible to make something without thinking throughly. For example jeans. Professional level bread, pizza etc. These are made by human like us. Of course professionals have away more experience in their fields. But still we can try to make it and have a quite good result.
We tend to forget this in highly specialized and convenient modern society ;)
ジーンズもどきのふたつ目を縫っています。ひとつ目は去年の今頃縫ってSteem Festにも履いて行って、特に変だと言われることもなく、壊れることもなく現役です。
黙々と縫いながら考えていたのは、ほぼ何でも手に入る先進国の便利で専門化が進んだ現代社会では、自分で作れるということを忘れてしまいがちですが、意外となんでも作れるんだよなということです。プロは何百何千ケースとこなしていて作るのはうまいものの、自分と同じ人間というのもまた真実。素人が挑戦するには練習が必要で失敗はつきものですが、それでもかなりよいものができます。
明日で大方出来上がるので製作記はまた Needlework Mondayに投稿します :)

Exactly. My bread does not look perfect, but it tastes great. I can't sew haute couture clothes in lots of dfferent sizes, but I can make something for me that fits and looks well :)
Exactly :) Bread, clothes and many more things we buy but we can make them actually in a way really fit to us.
