Hey everyone! Just a reminder that Steem Fantasy Premier League starts today!
I am really happy to see the huge interest for SFPL!
After the announcement 4 days ago we currently have 43 participants in the team:
I also noticed that Steemian @arsenal49 had also started a Steemit based Fantasy Premier League and after discussing with him for a bit on discord we decided to join forces and he will also provide us in the future with more details about the gameweeks for the Managers to follow!
For those still a bit confused on how to join and build their teams, Steemian @arfa has written some good posts that covers that. So make sure to check em out:

For those still interested in joining, you have time until GMT 18:45 to create your team and you can join the league until Gameweek 2. The reason for today's deadline is due to Arsenal playing Leicester an hour after!
We are currently at 43 managers but there will be rewards for at least 48 at the end of the season in SBD and these posts will all fill the reward pool for that.
So make sure to resteem this and let your football buddies that have had a Steemit account for at least 10 days know that they can join!

This is a great idea and that's awesome you have so many participants already! If I knew anything about premier league football, I'd join too, but I'll keep investing in other parts of Steemit's growth while you build this one. :)

He's into fantasy sports stuff as well as just being a general soccer nut, lol. But, he can barely work a computer, haha.

I'm actually curious, how many of your friends have you gotten to sign up so far? Have you had any luck talking people into it, man?
Of course! Many have also followed my crypto advice before Steem and are doing pretty good now. :)
Man, maybe my friends are all just lame assholes. I've only gotten my one friend to sing up, and I've asked at least 11 or 12 different people about it and explained it in detail pretty well. Either that, or Finnish people are just cooler than Americans :P

Hernan Crespo believes Manchester United will win the English Premier League trophy 2017/2018 season. The former Chelsea player mentions that Jose Mourinho has never failed to lead his club to win the trophy in the second season.
Crespo called Mourinho is one of the trainers who are full of experience. He managed to make history in several clubs including Porto, Chelsea, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, and now he can do it with United.
Let's hope so! They're two players deep at almost every spot on the pitch now, so they can and should challenge for the title. Cheers to a great campaign though! Come on United!

It's been 6 years since I first started playing FPL so this post came in as a beautiful surprise. I am with you in this and I am going to compete full time.
What I have done above all is to create an #SFPL post and publish it on my blog, encouraging football fans to join the Steem Fantasy Premier League.

Cool! Nice, I agree the reward pool could become bigger in value than the actual prizes of the FPL, lol. Especially if Steem is to go up in value over the season! ;)

Update: I've leaved the league with old team. So now it is ok.
P.S. Also I've found out in FPL Help that "Unlimited transfers can be made at no cost until your first deadline.". So the answer for my question "Can I change the whole team?" is "Yes, you can do it without any problems until the first deadline" :)
I even can't see any button to transfer players or edit team composition. I think that I will create another account there and join your league with another team...

I saw it the other day and I loved the idea 'cause I'm a huge Football fan(as audience), but quite a newbie when it comes to games so I wouldn't want to interfere with real players...I'll keep an eye on the progress though - If there's a way! :D Also... some of the names are seriously hilarious!!!!! As a Greek, I loved 'Hellas but no least' the most as 'Hellas' in Greek means Greece haha and it's the original name of the country :D Good luck and keep us posted!!!
