Have you tried appealing the ban?
I did so recently after a mod took offense at something I wrote and it got my 3 day reddit ban revoked.
I tried appealing, but it is still banned. I read that in most cases it makes sense to create a new Reddit account...
sounds like what hivewatchers may force some people to do at times :p
