We are in something bigger than the inquisition

Summer is winding down and so is everything else that makes life consist.

I am not saying that they will start burning people at the stake or anything, but after one, two, three weeks, or a month of shut down, millions of people will not be able to recover financially. This is huge and it is worse than the disease itself.

Let's say you avoid dying of the dreaded pan(ic)demic, what do you have left?

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure...

Very true.

I'm still inside - go away!

But, 17 tons of prevention when one hair is out of place might end everything.

On the other hand, little or no serious prevention was done on the off chance that paper money, credit, banks, jobs, and commerce might fail.

Many people live on credit and have not purchased anything of value with those bits of paper we carry. Their very lives hang on a plastic card, or paper rectangles built on faith. Now those systems are shutting down.

... if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, straw— each one’s work will become manifest.

Same holds true for faith in financial instruments. Gold has value and paper does not.

Some have begun to build the structure of their own stable economy using crypto and metals. Others only experimented with things of real value. Still others only acknowledged what a cool idea it was when I had mentioned it. And the last group only knows dollars, 97% of the population are in this last group.

All of us here on Hive have at least experimented with survival money, but experimentation with real money and barter will not be enough to suddenly depend on it. I hope you have saved enough to get your through this.

Many of my friends and family, are left with empty hope that the paper and plastic systems will not die. They are waiting for the government to provide the next payment for gas, electric, internet, rent or mortgage and food. I hope and pray that these Congressmen and Leaders will keep us alive, but I do not count on it. They are good at telling us what we want to hear - But talk is cheap - just like paper notes.

Take a moment and think about what these people are creating 24/7 and what value it has (if any).

The government does not have a very good reputation. Are you happy with their track record?
