At the coin show and SGS meetup in Vegas, I took the opportunity to add some items to my stack. Times have changed and its not really possible to get spot price or spot plus $1 on silver buys like I have experienced at other coin shows, but there were still some deals to be found.
I mostly stack for weight as I do not know enough about numismatics to make good purchases, and I also feel it is hard to get the premium back many times unless you are a dealer, which I am not.
At the show, I did add some generic silver rounds at about $3 over spot:
One item that was priced at generic round prices, but which has a bit more collector value than most, was the Engelhard prospector rounds:
I picked up a handful of those, which was one of the best “deals” I got at the coin show. Shoutout to @silverd510 who found the deal and passed along the tip to everyone in the group!

I miss my local coin shows, I was expecting them to come back by now since many Covid restrictions have lifted but, not a peep so far. Congratz on the Engelhard.
I like to collect old banknotes. I have some that are 25-30 years old.
