Hi friends,
I had some extra dirt from a gold prospecting trip - I think it was from a decent area and had a small amount of panning concentrates in it. I wasn’t sure what I would find so I panned it out. Here was the result:
Some specks of gold in there… not too many, but better than nothing. I will say that panning out the dirt was a nice way to spend a little time in the sun.

Wow, it's crazy that you can get that many specks just from the dirt. It looks like a good amount of work is needed to filter it all out though.
