Kennedy Halfs

HI friends,

I wanted to share an item from my precious metals stack and let you know why I am a holder. Today’s edition: some Kennedy Half Dollars:

IMG_7166.jpeg

These are circulated American coinage from 1964 and are 90% silver. These came after the Franklin Half Dollars and 1964 was the only year it has the silver content. Prices vary, but you can pick them up for about $9 to $10 per coin, and the melt value is about $8.25.

These are fun to have in the stack and are a pice of history.

Thanks for coming by,
Brian

Yes, a piece of memory as well.

yes, it is fun to have this in the collection and the melt value is also not too low. Keep collecting these gems.

I remember the last handful of Kennedy halves I got were seven 1965 to 1969 40% silver for 75 cents each at a local coin show.

The Kennedy Half Dollars is definitely a good item to add to your stack. The price at which it is sold is not too high and I think the resell price will be good also. Keep stacking. Thanks for putting it out for us to see. Have a nice day.

Oh wow, this is the first time I've seen these. It seems so rare, and I can understand the price.

You have many coins in one year. In which all the prices will also be good. I think you have shown us such coins before also. thank you @brian.rrr

These coins are quite expensive
They look nice!

Hold tight...

Nice that they are all 1964’s. I hate the 40% ones, no dealer wants them and neither do smelters. It cost too much to get the silver out now.

You are doing very well and we are very happy to see all your holdings because we all love silver so much.

Old coins are always useful as their value does not decrease. Every coin has its own identity as it does not depend on the value.

nice one

These are nice unlike the clad ones those are a bit lame 🤣 !BBH

This is shiny so bright

I missed this!!!

All these coins are best

I am little bit history student. In my knowledge, these coins was issued in memory of late United State President and these coins had a lot of feelings and emotions of US citizens attached of it.
These coins were produced in large quantity but now they are in rare. Happy to see your incredible holdings.

I am the proud stacker of these coins also...:)...
