Hi friends,
I wanted to share an item from my precious metals stack and let you know why I am a holder. Today’s edition: a pair of Walking Liberty half dollars from the mid 1940s:
These are beauties and true pieces of American history. These are 90% silver and you can usually pick them up for $12-$15 a piece, depending on the spot price of silver.
I have a handful more somewhere, but couldn’t find them… hopefully they have not “walked” off being named Walking Liberty coins, lol.

US Constitutional have been scarce around my town lately, my coin show dealers are looking to buy rather than sell.
The coins look good and no doubt they are really valuable. At least they have made your stack of precious metals grow by a bit. Keep stacking and have a good day.
I really like the level of detail, and some of the slightly hidden designs like the stars, the clouds, and maybe the sea.

One of my favorite coins of all time. Unfortunately many of the years on these are quite expensive to buy in mint state
