No Gold

Hi friends,

I took my metal detector out, the gold monster 1000, for a second try on the gold grounds in Mohave County, Arizona. The result was… No gold!

I gave it a good shot and did a lot looking around but found nothing. My previous location had too many bullets and shell casings, but this time there were so many iron rocks that almost every signal was a hot rock. It made it hard to do solid searching when everything was going off. I tried to increase the discrimination, but the hot rocks just made it so difficult.

I had fun though and got a nice hike in, here are some pics:

A fun day and maybe next time I will find some gold. Or at least that’s what I keep telling myself!

Take care,
Brian
