I was curious to hear from the experienced stackers in the #silvergoldstackers community - where are some unique spots you pick up gold and silver?
For me, I would say unique spots would be pawn shops and an antique shop. I have also bought some through apps like OfferUp and LetGo.
I once picked up 7 grains of gold ($6 per grain) from this card claiming to be real California Gold:
When I took it home, it was gold, but it was not water tumbled placer gold, but rather fragments of smashed gold ore. Still cool, but the card made it seem like it was from the California streams, lol.
So where are some unique spots you have bought gold and silver?

I can say that the only place I buy is goldsmith.
The best place i picked up silver was in a antique shop. It was some kind of ornament, i got it under spot price !
I mostly go to coin shops and places that buy gold and silver what I'd really would love is to participate in an estate sale and score some really great deals
You are doing right. Because gold should be at home only. Because we get once. That's why you can collect them in pieces.

I lost my set of rings on a beach by the Great Highway in San Francisco, while I was living there. Until now, I wonder if any "prospector" had found it!

We have our own shop where we design gold and sell it to people. Now people have started mixing a lot in this work and those who come to buy do not even know and they go secretly when they go to sell they suffer a lot.
